4-Day Special Baisakhi Event at Akal Academy Baru Sahib.
Baisakhi Celebrations – Day 1/4
The four-day Baisakhi program is being organised at Akal Academy Baru Sahib. On Day 1, the Senior Boys organised a special assembly and an evening programme to commemorate the historic Baisakhi of 1699, when Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj formed the Khalsa Panth to stand against tyranny and injustice and safeguard the rights of the needy.
Students started the programme with Shabad Kirtan, followed by Dastar Bandi Competition (Turban tying Competition), Kavishri (Poems) and a debate on the historic significance of Baisakhi. Lastly, the students performed the Sikh martial art – Gatka, which Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji used to train the Khalsa Army for self-defence.
In every Baisakhi, students are made aware of the rich heritage they are a part of.

Heartiest congratulations to all the students for their outstanding performance at the AI Codeavour 7.0 Regionals, where they emerged as winners.
AI Codeavour 7.0 Regionals were held at Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University, bringing together schools from across the region to present innovative projects based on Artificial Intelligence.
Students of Akal Academy, Baru Sahib, showcased the following projects:
• Home Cleaner – designed to assist senior citizens.

This achievement reflects their technical understanding, creativity, teamwork, and commitment to innovation. The students will now advance to the National round, to be held in Bengaluru.

With Gurdwara Shri Baru Sahib on the campus, students begin their day with Nitnem, followed by breakfast and academics, making them spiritually inclined and helping build strong character. They grow with the values of peace, equality and women empowerment, while standing against drug abuse.
